Eid

In this moment I will tell you about my story when eid. Because I forget about what happen in last idul fitri, so I just tell what I did not forget. This story was happened in eid 2011. Idul fitri is the most awaited moment when Ramadhan.

This story happened in the last day in Ramadhan. I’m so happy because tomorrow is eid. But, I’m too sad, because today is the last day in Ramadhan. And when eid was coming, I and my family prayed in field. After that, we went home to breakfast and then went to my grand mother’s home. In there, we met some family from my grand mother.

Next, we went to home and rested before receiving guests. Like usual, my family visited to neighbor.

I think this eid was not different with last eid, but it still become the happiest day.

The celebrated feast of Eid Al-Fitri

One month before the day of Eid, I and all Muslim in the world implement Ramadhan fasting. Ramadhan fasting is held every day from dawn until sunset. Muslims was allowed to breakfast in the dawn in the month of ramadhan, then we had to fast, while evening we are allowed to break our fasting.

To welcome Eid, the night before the first day of shawwal, muslims proclaimed takbir as a sign of greatness to God and a sign that eid coming up the next day. Many boys do the takbir in the mosque and also by car around the city.

In the morning we wake up in preparation for Eid prayers in the field, because the Eid prayers held as the dhuha. But before my family pray, we breakfast with food prepared by my mother. After breakfast, we all went to the ground play. After it completes, we came to my family home and I apologize to each other. After that I and my family went to my relatives’ home for sillaturahmi and apologize.

Idul fitri

When Eid arrives, my family and I get to the field to follow the Eid pray.

First, one month before Eid, I and all Muslims in the world perform Ramadhan fasting. I did it for a month from the first day of Ramadhan until the first day of Shawwal.

Second, the night before the arrival date of the Takbir Shawwal Muslims as a sigh that proclammed the Victory of Muslims coming up the next day on the first day of shawwal. Takbiran usually followed by lots of little boys and girls.

Then, early in the morning I got up to clean the house and prepared to Eid pray. Eid pray held before Duha pray. Before going to the field my family and I breakfast first, after eating my family and I immediately went to court, got there I follows the Takbir along with the other prayers waiting to the  pray, then we pray. After the pray ended, we shook hands to apologize for any mistakes we’ve done either intentionally or unintentionally.

Finally, upon arriving home I rested for a moment and then shook hands to apologize to my parents, than my close relatives and followed by neightboars.

I am delighted with the arrival of Eid because it can erase all the mistakes I had commited, and with fasting I can add a lot of benefits.

Ied Mubarok

Last year Ied mubarok is very happy to me, and that unforgettable to me. Ied mubarok last year, I woke up very morning to prepare ied pray together my family.

I woke up at 4 am. Then, I helped my mother cooked in the kitchen, after that I preparing to take a bath. After finishing took a bath at the 5 am, I prayed subuh. Then my mother asked me to save my brother and play with him. Then I prepared to go to the court to ied pray. I left home at 6 am. I went to court on foot with my mother and my brother. And my father went to court by motorcycle with my first brother and finally I arrived in the court at 06.25 am. There, I met with many old friends; I met with my junior high school friends. We each other shake hands and I was very happy can met my old friends in junior high school. After that I prepared to ied pray, and this is time to ied pray. It was started at 7 am. After finishing I listened to khotbah, I went to home with my mother. We arrived at home at 07.30 am. After I arrived home, I apologized of my mistake to my parents, after that I eating with my family.

After that I met together with my big family at my grandmother’s home. In my grandmother’s home, all my cousins, my uncles, my aunts and all my relatives met together and we each other shake hands. There were many cakes, and there we talked many problems and I very happy with that. Next, I and my big family went to neighbours to sillaturahmi from house to house.

And finally I don’t like this, because this is time to sparate between I and my big family. Because time is afternoon, they are back to home. That day is very happy because it is not every day we can met together with my big family, although tired but I felt very happy and fun.

The Beauty of Eid Al-Fitr

As usual, after fasting for one month Muslims celebrate Eid Al-Fitr. So I and my family do.

In the morning we prayed in the field not far from our house. After listening to the speech of our preachers, we practiced prayer. Then we shook hands with others. I got home, me and my family breakfast, we were taste our delicious meals together and it was rare family gathering.

The Eid Al-Fitr feast that year was celebrated two days, so it was very quiet because I celebrated it in the first day. The next day we actually feel the atmosphere of the feast of Eid Al-Fitr, lot of people come to my house. Once we thought that the guest had not come back, so we decided to visit the homes of our brothers that were not far from my home on foot. Finally, after we travel from one house to other houses we got home to rest.

That day I was very happy because I could hang out with my family. I feel the beauty of Eid because there were people who I care were around me.
